Food recipes for a Toddler?

Toddlers, by nature seem to be picky eaters. The best thing to suggest is to keep the foods simple, and seperate. For instance, everyone in my family likes tacos, except the little guy. So when I made tacos one night, I decided to put the foods in their own little spots on his plate. That way he eats the parts he likes, and by looking at what's left, I can tell what he didn't (the tomatoes). Now, he eats the whole thing.Food recipes for a Toddler?

Just serve your toddler the same thing that you are eating for dinner! Go ahead and cut it up into smaller pieces or mash it if you need to.
Anabel Karmel writes great books about cooking for toddlers, but personally, what I'v always done is given the same food to a toddler as I do for the rest of the family, just maybe less salt.
Having raised 5 kids--just put your ';dinner in the blender'; no heavy spices.Use- Pasta- carrots- green beans, They LOVE Turkey etc. You can freeze them in those seal a meal for later lunches etc. All this saves money too. God Bless you and your little one. swampkat
